Our client is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Chef Manager with previous experience to join their catering team.
As a chef Manager you will be responsible for the overall efficiency of the team and ensuring that great quality food and excellent customer service is provided.
You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking and service. You will also be responsible for ensuring the unit keeps it excellent food hygiene standards.
In general, this is a Monday to Friday position, 40 hours a week, either 9am- 4pm or 8am - 4pm. However, there will be the occasional weekends.
The position is 52 weeks a year, with 20 days holiday. There are periods of the year where the establishment is quieter.
The successful applicants must demonstrate the following skills;
- Previous Chef Manager Experience
- Good knowledge and experience of working in the food industry, ideally in school catering
- A flexible work ethic
- Able to lead by example and setting high standards
- IT Literate
