Our wonderful Dorking based client is in need of a skilled CONFERENCE DIRECTOR to join their successful and long standing team! This role will sometimes require you to travel globally.

Job Description:
Primary Functions
Researching and sourcing highly qualified speakers for global conference events
Managing speaker content and conference scheduling
On-site management of the conference. Involves meet and greet of speakers & moderators, liaising with onsite contractors (requires willingness and ability to travel globally)
Liaising with various internal teams to produce marketing material, onsite operation of the conference & website content management
Ideal Candidate
Excellent communicator
Confident making phone calls and meeting people face to face (up to C-level)
An interest and aptitude to learn about new technology or industries (role requires a lot of subject research)
Self-motivated to meet strict deadlines and deliver best possible speakers
Ability to remain calm under pressure and think logically (onsite management of 120+ speakers while handling challenges from delegates and speakers calmly is a must)
Strong organisational skills
Basic computer skills, MS Office primarily, plus internal software systems
Renumeration
Circa. £30k basic plus bonuses (TBC dependant on candidate)
25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and extended Christmas break
The role is based in the Dorking office, usual hours of 9am-5.30pm with an hour for lunch.
