Operational Project Lead
Due to growth, my client is looking for an Operational Project Lead to join their team.
Duties
* Overall ownership and accountability for all company Operational Projects
* Management of the operational projects team
Functional Areas and Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for all Operational Projects from planning through to completion and sign off
* Mentor team members to ensure accurate, timely and effective output for each project
* One to ones of team members
* Where required overall responsibility of detailed research and analysis ahead of planning a corrective project
* Monitoring for trends, procedural errors and issues to be fed back to management team
* Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the group of company's service offering
* Keeping up to date with regulatory change
* Continuously seek ways to identify and improve inefficient processes
* Assist with ongoing maintenance of processing procedures and support documentation
* Build strong relationships through proactive measures and quality service
* Effective communication on progress across multiple projects to the senior management team;
* Ensure that all requirements, timescales, milestones and deliverables are documented and communicated internally and to the client (where required) in a timely manner
Experience/Qualifications
* Previous experience within a technical or analytical support role within Financial Services would be preferable
* Experience of working within a regulated environment is essential
* Track record of working accurately within defined processes
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
* Willingness to learn new systems, concepts and broaden knowledge in the industry
* Highly motivated with a will to thrive in a challenging, fast paced environment
