Retail Team Leader - London £24,000 - £28,000 + Excellent Benefits

Expanding telecoms company with three retail branches in the UK, servicing customers' UK and international travel needs. They have trade agreements with all the major UK networks and carriers across a full range of products and services. They have worked hard to build their product and service portfolio to ensure they are able to cater to their clients' individual and business telecoms requirements. This role is primarily based in their Flagship Store.

As a Retail Team Leader, you will be responsible for all retail sales activities from the time a client enters the branch to closing the sale, as well as customer support. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards and provide excellent customer service. You will work closely with Managers and Retail Teams in all branches to ensure staff are trained on product specifications and confident in their selling capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Establish customer requirements and assess their needs
  2. Advise customers by providing additional information on products or services in branch, by email or by telephone
  3. Help customers make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and cross selling products and services
  4. Remain knowledgeable on products and services offered
  5. Managing stock levels
  6. Keep branch of a presentable appearance and stock securely stored
  7. Be polite and provide excellent customer service at all times
  8. "Go the extra mile" to drive sales whilst retaining an excellent level of customer service
  9. Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and security when working with customers' devices especially concerning data transfers
