Sales Executive

My lovely client is expanding and opening a new office in Reigate and is looking for an enthusistic Sales Executive to join their team.

Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is to support the Sales Director and team to maximise sales opportunities through qualifying leads; developing and following up sales proposals and to identify additional opportunities within the key sectors that my client focuses on.

Key Requirements and SkillsThis position would suit a sales executive with 2+ years' experience, looking to progress their career and take the next step towards a field sales role. The post-holder will have good instinct and varied approach when identifying and meeting potential client requirements. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a SME environment, with a flexible and hands-on work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
 To make first contact with all potential clients to qualify the lead and to make an appointment for the Sales Director or member of the sales team to attend a sales meeting. This could be from a proactive enquiry, or by following up to responders to marketing campaigns or website visitors for example.
 To help the Sales Director develop a written proposal following each sales meeting, taking responsibility, where instructed, to follow up the proposal.
 To work with the Sales Director to proactively follow-up with prospective clients after sales presentation meetings, to help to close the sale.
 To research sales opportunities in key sectors and to work with the Marketing Executive to generate campaigns to target these prospects and/or developing a call/email/LinkedIn campaign to make direct contact with each prospect.

 Good writing skills for sales communications.
 Ability in Excel and Power-point
 Strong attention to detail
 A real team player.
 Able to work under pressure.
 Strong communication and time management skills.
 Financial services or Business-to-Business experience is a plus.
