Reporting To: Operations Manager
Responsibility for Others: Some responsibility for Administrators
Location: Horsham
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Any Special Requirements: Some need to travel to clients across the UK (hours, travel)

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Support all areas of Operations Administration, including monitoring the performance and procedures, identifying areas of improvement and working with the Manager to support the administration team.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

* Ownership and accountability for performance and procedures of area
* Coach and train new members of staff
* Delegation of day to day activities of the Administration team (minor work allocation)
* Identify and report on process improvements
* Understanding and ability to perform multiple processes across operations
* Proactively contribute and feedback in team meetings
* Cross-training for multiple functions/Administration processes to support multiple areas of the business
* Liaise with internal and external suppliers for daily operational support matters

Required Skills/Experience:

* 5 GCSE's including maths and English language
* 2 A Levels or equivalent
* IMC, studying towards ACII / bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 3 years experience within Finance Administration
* Accurate with good attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Desirable Skills/Experience:

* Financial Services industry experience
* Confident user of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
* Sound understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority and regulation relating to platform services

* Self-starter, willing to learn
* Excellent time management and ability to prioritise work
* Confident to review processes for improvements
