Reporting To: Head of Third Parties

Responsibility for Others: Responsibility for member of multi functions team

Location: Horsham

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Any Special Requirements: Some need to travel to clients across the UK (hours, travel)

Overall Purpose of the Job:

Responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team which provides support across the platform, DFMs, wrapper providers and Investment Committee alike. Effective management and successful delivery of various workstreams and services demanded from the team. Accountable for the function and procedures where errors may involve financial losses or impact the business, including possible loss of customer accounts. A strong focus on ensuring positive consumer outcomes to ensure consistent delivery across all platform third party relationship, including risk and control reviews and reporting.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for performance of team and ensuring procedures are compliant, efficient, detailed and up to date
  • Constantly seek to improve delivery of service, reviewing and challenging inefficient processes
  • Detailed understanding of multiple processes across team
  • Lead team meetings
  • Active participation and contribution in management meetings
  • Setting goals and managing quarterly documented one to ones
  • Review and authorise standard operational tasks within the team
  • Report and present accurate MI and produce the dashboard for the team

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5 GCSE's including maths and English language
  • 2 A Levels or equivalent
  • Relevant experience at manager/team leader level within Financial services or relationship management
  • Accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Outstanding numeracy and literacy skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • IMC, studying towards ACII / bachelor's degree
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Sound understanding of the Financial Conduct Authority and regulation relating to platform services
