Our lovely client based in Leatherhead is looking for a new Yard Operative to join the team.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate would be someone who is capable of heavy lifting and loading and be able to ensure the smooth transition of roofing supplies to the customers vehicles. They are looking for someone who is upbeat, on the ball and not shy of hard work. This is the type of industry where repeat custom is common so the ideal candidate will appreciate a high level of customer service is needed in order to retain business.
Job Requirements:
- Be physically fit and able
- Own steel toe cap boots
- Previous experience in a Yard/Warehouse environment preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of roofing supplies preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic
- Fantastic communication skills
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm
They also require you to work 1 out of every 3 Saturdays from 8am - 12pm (you will be paid overtime for this.)
Salary:
£19,000 - £19,500 + Overtime.
